I grew up in Babylon and Lindenhurst on Long Island, NY
What is your education?
I attended Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT for my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communication. I received my Master's degree in School Counseling from St. John's University in Queens, NY and I am certified in New York State as a School Counselor.
How long have you been a teacher?
This school year will be my fourth year as a School Guidance Counselor.
Favorite Saint:
My favorite Saint since childhood has been St. Therese of Lisieux because my middle name is Theresa.

2024 - 2025 School Year
Welcome Students
Welcome back to school! I am so excited to be returning this year as your School Guidance Counselor. Just like last year, students in all grade levels will participate in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) activities and lessons at various times during the school year. In K-5 classes, we will do hands-on activities that include crafts, artwork, SEL games, interactive worksheets, and group work. In Middle School, our work will focus on topics such as mental health, high school preparation, career exploration, and many other areas within SEL. Just like in previous years, any student can see me for individual counseling on a weekly basis with written permission from your parents, or as needed for any problem or conflict that you are experiencing. Counseling sessions can be arranged by making an appointment directly with me or with permission and assistance from your teacher. It is my number one priority for my office to be a safe and comfortable place for all students as I support you in your academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth. I can't wait to see you all very soon!

Thank you for choosing St. Joseph School for your child's education! I would like to welcome our new students and families to SJS. I look forward to meeting all of you in September. During the first week of school, I will be visiting all classes to greet our new students, provide a tour of the school building, and answer any questions that your children may have as they begin the academic year at a new school. I am also excited to see all of our returning students and families. My office is still located next to the cafeteria and is always a safe and comfortable place for students to meet with me to share their feelings and concerns. In September, all families will be receiving an updated letter from me in the Guidance Office with an overview of my counseling services and supports for the 2024-2025 school year.
