I attended Our Lady of Mercy elementary school and then Holy Trinity High School. St. John's University is where I received both my undergrad and graduate degrees. I currently hold NYS certifications in art education K-12th, elementary education K-6th, and early childhood education birth-2nd.

2024 - 2025 School Year
Welcome Students
Students can look forward to a fun and exciting school experience. They will be challenged to their full potential and grow emotionally, spiritually, and academically through whole group and small group hands-on learning experiences. A love of reading is developed through daily read alouds and the Superkids program where the children are encouraged to think deeply, comprehend through listening and reading, develop phonemic awareness/phonics skills, and enjoy learning to read stories by themselves. Shapes, numbers, addition/subtraction, decomposing will be explored through our Go Math program. Through our science and social studies programs, students will investigate the world around them. And, of course, the children will practice their faith and build a stronger relationship with God and Jesus through daily prayer, stories, music, and videos. Kindergarten students participate in many fun events and activities along with the entire school and some are just special to just Kindergarten alone. These events include prayer services, first Friday Mass, Halloween parade, Thanksgiving Feast, Polar Express movie night, Christmas Show, Catholic Schools week, Game Show, St. Patrick's Day Carnival, and Graduation.

Thank you for choosing St. Joseph School and entrusting your little ones to me this year. We are going to have a fantastic time in Kindergarten! Developing not only a love of learning but doing so in a faith based loving environment makes it much more special. We appreciate our families and are excited to meet with parents throughout the year. Collaborating with families and emphasizing a positive home/school relationship are integral parts of my teaching philosophy.
